    What's hurting Cedar Hill School size - much smaller at 2277 enrollment compared to Desoto and DV. Other towns in the district have grown bigger than CH for example Waxahacie who has good talent too is now over 2600 enrollment.

    Dude, the only way private schools can truly be at the very top of HS football rankings is to recruit studs that are going to be Jr and Sr's. on the team. The Sr year only transfers at SJB is eye opening. When you except this many upper classmen with offers already your program is about transfers not developing players. This is not to say, that SJB or other privates do not develop some players. However, it says to be truly elite they can't do it without recruiting already made somewhere else studs!

    Not sure what you mean. Rules should be in place for competitive balance. It’s the difference between stacking team like MD/SJB vs developing and molding players.

    lol yet SJB with 7 returners on both sides of the ball received 8 impactful transfers with 7 of them coming only for SR year season and that’s ok with you California folks.

    Yup and this would never happen at MD or Trinity schools as they are allowed to do whatever they want.

    The UIL doesn’t mess around. Athletic transfers must be legal even at open enrollment schools!

    SFA is not the #1 team. Very disappointed that GSB is doing this with his poll! cent10 getting way too much praise for playing MD close last year this year. Nobody likes to talk about the circumstances that led to MD not playing there best in that game!

    What we have is fake news with fake narrative concerning the state of Texas HS football. Texas is down - nothing could be less true. Again - outside of few seriously recruited - 100% relying on transfers to put them at another level - see SJB with 8 sr year only impactful transfers (documented) these schools will forever be forced to rely on transfers over development to stay near the top. It’s not impressive! sr year only transfers didn’t need development!
