I am not sure what you are talking about...I thought IMG got hosed in that game with 2 defensive starters being tossed from the game. The one kid got booted after the MD kid kept blocking him 5 yards out of bounds. SJB vs Dematha - Blindside Hit was just personal foul. MD vs IMG - Blindside hit is ejection. Some of these MD teams have been so good, not sure how you can tell which was better. Probably the team that beat IMG was one of if not their best. 2020 IMG team had better QB IMO than did the IMG team that lost to MD.

Trust me they are using them during the season, especially playoff teams. Schools that don't have them sometimes use others in the area just to get good practice on bad weather days during the playoffs. I just looked at article from 2016 and it was saying over 60 in the area back then. There has been many built since then! DFW and East Texas have most of them. Not very many in the Houston area...Barbers Hills built one recently.

Plus, it can get pretty darn cold here! most have batting cages and everything else that is needed by outside sports.

My man these are all over Texas and it’s not something new happening - schools here starting building these roughly 20 + years ago!

Another rule change needed is to allow big schools who take Spring football practice to start their fall practice the same time as the small schools who don’t have Spring Ball practice. The number of fall practices before the first game is not enough especially considering that’s states like Cali start playing games the week prior to the start of our 1st games.

It’s only matter of time before one of our public powers line up and beat one of these super recruited powers!

I doubt that very seriously with any of our private schools. They have recruiting rules too. See Trinity Christian Cedar Hill - kicked out of our best private league! They are not the first this happened to! Private schools in Texas will at least in my lifetime play second fiddle to our Public Schools.

lol social media is big everywhere. The only thing that has changed in California is the level of commitment to recruiting aka poaching players from very large populated area’s.

Fuck that…Playing those games has done nothing for the program in my opinion. MD has short history of being this recruited up - the vast majority of the teams in the past are less than DLS and they lost nearly every single oos game they played. Now look at them today! MD would never be this good without recruiting the entire LA area!

Really good chance it will be extremely hot on Saturday afternoon! As you can see there very little shade anywhere around that stadium.

I will be there…not excited about the stadium. The seats are spaced to far back due to the track. They had better options imo. This stadium was probably less expensive than all the others!

I believe the DV team that beat SJC would have given MD better game. nor do I believe at the end of last year that MD was 45-3 better than DV.

They haven’t been elite TX - the point I am making is it’s possible for them.
