A lot more fans would be much more interested in and attend a Cen10 game versus somebody like Mission Viejo, DLS, any Trinity team, Los Alamitos, etc. SFA is not a draw except to people like us who live in a bubble and comprise of a tiny fraction of the people that actually attend the games.

I don't blame Cen10 for not using their budget to pay for an OOS team.

The game would've happened if it weren't for the CIF Southern Section policies.

What policy are you referring to? MD and Olu are playing SFA and we follow the same CIF rules as Cen10.

Flo is not permitted to broadcast any Southern Section games due exclusive relationships with other vendors. Those other vendors will not contribute funding to help pay for the visitn team's travel expenses like PGL/Flo does.

MD and OLu are offering SFA travel stipends 2-5x that of what Cen10 was. If permitted, I could've contributed enough funding to get SFA to the level they needed to make the trip to Cen10.

But the same rule applies to MD/Olu who are playing SFA. How much is MD shelling out to SFA?

That is not a CIF rule either. That is common contractual policy for any organization. It would be the same with Flo. If you had contractual rights to televise game, you would not permit any other party to televise.

I'm just saying that more of these games could be produced annually if the CIF operated like every other state in America. They make all the money and zero of it trickles back down to the teams. It's the opposite with PGL/Flo. With our games only the teams make the money and not the state association. The way it should be. Only Cali operates in this manner.
