We usually wind up anywhere from #17 to 25 at the end (2021 being the exception with a loaded squad). But here is the thing, we are not afraid to take these games and lose handily if our guys learn from the losses. Embarrassment has a way of focusing or refocusing a team. After both the MD loss in 2017 & last years loss to C-M we wound up running the table. We will lose to IMG in 2 weeks time but we have a veteran coaching staff that will make the necessary adjustments for the rest of the season. We are also landing a lot of talent because of these games and the stage it puts them on. Also if you notice, we are almost always on the road for these top 10 games which unless you correct me the Texas teams can not say the same. I have nothing but respect for the DV & DeSoto programs and would never denigrate them. They are public schools and although loaded with talent are at a disadvantage to the Top 10 recruited all star programs. Now, with all that said, your comment about the Oklahoma schools is fucking ludicrous and you should have it stricken from the record!! Saguaro and Hoban were both good teams in their respective states those seasons. BC is #13 in the @misterfootballcomposite poll, which is all that matters. This composite poll is the ONLY one in America that includes all nine (9) national pollsters.

Broken Arrow Oklahoma who wasn’t the best in Oklahoma beat the breaks off Bentonville that same year

Top TX teams have NO IDEA what it's like to board an aircraft for a regular season OOS game. #nocowardsallowed

Selective to say the least.

But the season they hosted BC (2022), both teams finished in the Top 24 in America per CP.

Other algo polls like HSFA and Massey don't need disclaimers. Get it right, or don't do it at all.
