What about Maurice Douglass from Springfield OH?

first black coach in Ohio history win a football state title back in 2011 took his Springfield team all the way to state before falling to St Ed’s. Went 13-2 without an all star team and would have been the first black coach to win it at the Ohio D1 level.

What about DeVonte Holloman from South Pointe SC?

went 13-1, won the state championship and boat raced a North Carolina state champ in the middle of the season.

I found 3 guys way more deserving with minimum research at all.

None of those teams finished in the Top 10 last season.

Why? They were an undefeated state champ. Plus the game was arranged the day before and STA drove up the day of the game to play. Who does that?

So SFA is allowed to lose but STA can’t?

a 3 point loss after driving 5 hours against an undefeated state champion is not as bad as getting boat raced by double digits on national TV

Jesuit was a no-name program up until last season. They still haven't proved its worth on a national stage and in the rankings. I still consider them a one-hit-wonder.

STA needs to beat IMG two years in a row to make your point. And we all know that will NEVER happen.

Nobody needs to do anything. These are all just opinions. Plenty of people win awards all the time in every aspect in life that don’t deserve it. It happens, but you gotta call out the bullshit to go along with it

STA fumbled like 6 times against Jesuit. The backup RB for STA got scholarship offers that game. It was raining.

They played a rainy game that was schedule the day before and drove 5 hours before the game and fumbled 6 times and still almost won.

Over the last 10 years Jesuit has been ranked on average in the 700s. One lucky win does not make a team nationally-relevant overnight.

I didn’t say they were nationally relevant. What they did when the current players were in elementary school is of no consequence.
